I’ve received so many calls recently from people who are pained that Hootsuite has drastically reduced their free offerings;

To be honest, I’m surprised Hootsuite have taken so long to implement this, their free offering was pretty substantial, though personally I found it a little too clunky for my needs.
I swear by Meet Edgar – their library and category features, coupled with their simply magical done for you variable set-up saves me many many many hours every month. If you post just Monday – Friday each week, the cost works out at around 70p per day, for as many posts each day as you like. It works out even less per day if you are someone who posts every single day. And they have a free trial!
If you are looking for a free scheduling option, there are two that I recommend you check out.
Buffers free plan allows you to post to up to 3 social media accounts and schedule up to 10 posts.
Facebook Creator Studio, although you are limited to just being able to post to Facebook and Instagram you can schedule as many posts as you like.
Though both these options are completely free and admittedly, they are ‘ok’, they lack the extra special something that Meet Edgar has. I love that I can build a bank of posts and Meet Edgar will rotate them, schedule them, and vary them with so little input from me. Amazing!
